Brief:
DAVE- The Home of Witty Banter’ was launched on 15th October 2007, a complete rebrand of the former UKTV G2 Channel. The channel had great shows like ‘Have I Got News For You’, ‘Little Britain’, ‘Top Gear’, ‘ Catherine Tate’ and ‘ Never Mind The Buzzcocks’. This channel went from scoring just 2% spontaneous awareness to a media brand attracting 20 million viewers per month. I was chief makeup artist on the first two sets of idents totalling 6 per shoot. The award winning idents were used up until 2014. Filming them was one of the most fun experiences in my career as a makeup artist- it was a huge production but with the nicest cast and production team.
